Audrey has been very sick, it's got me worried. she got her leg tangled a few months ago in her dog's lead, and it tore apart her ankle. she ended up almost a week in the hospital with a horrendous infection, i had to rent a car and go out and take care of her for a week, i missed work and almost lost my job. i wish i'd gotten fired, i would be taking care of her right now.

the accident couldn't have come at a worse time. her immune system was weak from chemo and the incredible heat of twentynine palms in july was nearly unbearable. she hadn't been taking care of her bones either, she had been so empowered by her recovery using quantum healing ( http://mindswell.org/organichealing.htm ) that she thought she could go back to soda, which has always been one of her weaknesses. she also ran out of calcium supplements and didn't get more. the newfound flood of phosphoric acid, combined with a lack of calcium, weakened her bones, and after the accident lowered her immune system, her bones began to show signs of cancer... a few spots have shown up on her bonescan, and she's in a horrible amount of pain, which leads her to lean heavily on her pain medication, which makes her vomit violently. she throws up all day long.

her doctor won't give his legally necessary endorsment for her to get the cannabis which helps ease her nausea and actually makes her hungry. the nausea medicine he preseribes her makes her jittery and won't let her sleep. chemically forced insomnia isn't exactly the best thing for someone in her condition, trying to heal.

she doesn't have a doctor's note so i can't mail any healing flowers to her... i have a doctor's recommendation, so i can buy at dispensaries in town, but it is against the law for me to share the healing flowers with her, unless she pays $150 to one of the few doctors who are willing to risk their professional practices to recommend a plant that has been used to heal for thousands of years.

jesus used cannabis in his healing oil, buddha was nourished on hempseed in the forest, moses called it manna and fed it to the jews in the desert. don't believe it? learn the truth about cannabis at: www.patientproject.org

stupid laws made by ignorant greedy people have prevented this plant from being part of a physician's medicine bag for nearly 70 years, even though before cannabis projibition, it healed millions of people over thousands of years. but, it's not legally patentable. why are health care costs skyrocketing? hmmm, pharmacuticle industry profits are skyrocketing as well, can you see the connection? and so much money spent on law enforcement to prohibit this beautiful plant, while there are supposedly more important wars we should be focused on. the war on patients is killing people, and all the television cares about is paris hilton.

i'm trapped here, 143 miles away from audrey without a car, with no way to get to her. it's breaking my heart. her kids can be more burden than help to her sometimes, her daughter keeps demanding rides into town, and her son seems to care more about television than helping his mother when she is sick. if i was there, cooking for her, caring for her, she would get better... but i live on modest means here in los angeles, especially after i had to quit my second job (long story), and i rely solely on 4 graveyard shifts a week at the hotel in hollywood where i currently work, while i furiously try to finish a presentable treatment of the screenplay audrey and i are writing about her life, so i can pitch it in hollywood and get enough money to buy a car and go take care of her.

i had a case of delicious spearmint mintwater (which she loves) and some gourmet brownies (which she'd been craving) sent to her this week. some great crystal jewlery as well... the internet does wonders for long distance relationships... but it's not enough. it's not the same as being there.

anyways, i've got to get back to work. i've never been good at keeping a journal, but i want to chip away at this blog thing. it's a way to circumvent shyness and open up... after all, it's just me and my keyboard, not like anyone reads these things...
