it's interesting to note that daniel ellsberg released the pentagon papers - which led to the resignation of nixon and the eventual end of the vietnam war - because he was so moved by anti-war protestors' passion and sacrifice.

years of escalating expressions of dissent directly changed the soul of one man, who happened to be in the position to release documentation that exposed the government's war lies and put the final nail in nixon.
